As President of Dancing Elephants Achievement Group, Will feels he has the best job in the galaxy. He loves working with salespeople and business owners to “unblock” themselves and “unlock” their potential. Will is the first to admit that he was a reluctant salesperson for many years. He thought most salespeople had to be pushy, and he just wasn’t comfortable in that role. He later discovered that you don’t have to act like a typical salesperson to be a great salesperson.
Will transitioned a twenty year career in sales and sales management into his current position as President of Dancing Elephants. In addition to facilitating and presenting, Will is the author of Impact!, the company’s monthly e-newsletter on sales performance. He is also the creator of the Sales Magnetism program and the co-author of Six Secrets of Sales Magnets.
Will lives in Bellevue, an older tree-lined neighborhood in Richmond, Virginia. After growing up on a farm and living in the ‘burbs, he enjoys the eclectic mix of people that are drawn to the city. He can often be found running throughout the many different city neighborhoods with his Golden Retriever, Rusty. Will is an avid marathoner—despite battered knees, doctor warnings and racing mishaps (ask him about collapsing 30 feet in front of the finish line at the 2004 Richmond marathon).
Will also finds time to pursue another passion – oil painting. “When I paint, I get lost in the experience. I love the interplay between colors and I’m drawn into the process of experimenting and creating,” he says.
Will is a proud graduate of Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) and has an MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Laura Posey brings much passion to her work as Vice President and Co-Founder of Dancing Elephants Achievement Group. She is a “firecracker” who likes to create and get things done. Over the years, she has received numerous awards and recognition for her sales and management contributions to different organizations. Laura’s extensive sales career has covered the gamut from insurance to cars. She broke into sales in high school by selling cutlery door-to-door.
Laura is the co-author of Six Secrets of Sales Magnets. In this book, she discloses the differences between average, good, and great salespeople and shows readers how to become part of the top 5% of salespeople in their field.
Laura is hard at work on her second and third books and can’t wait to see which one comes out first. When not writing, you can find her teaching classes, doing speeches and seminars, and observing salespeople to see what makes them tick. Her driving mission is for each of her clients to earn a healthy six-figure income in less than 40 hours per week.
Laura is also a self-described golf-nut who is obsessed with breaking 80. If it’s sunny and warm you can bet she’s trying to find a way to get onto the golf course to pursue her goal. She also is crazy about dogs. Gracie, her Ibizan Hound, has Laura wrapped around her paw and knows it! Laura loves to travel as well. She has trekked across most of the U.S. and enjoys traveling in Europe. She even put down roots in Germany for a couple of years to study, work, and immerse herself in a different culture.
Laura is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of State University of New York (SUNY) and received her MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2005.
